Fatima Home Visitation Program
The Home Visitation Apostolate aims to bring Our Lady of Fatima and her message of conversion, prayer and penance into every home across the country. Canada Needs Our Lady representatives, referred to as “Fatima Custodians,” travel to various areas of the country to offer people a few hours of prayer and devotion in the presence of the beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima. Throughout Canada Needs Our Lady's history of bringing the statue of Our Lady of Fatima into homes, Custodians have personally witnessed the profound effect Our Lady’s visit has had on souls.
What happens during a Fatima Home Visit?
- Our Lady is crowned:
First and foremost, the statue of Our Lady is ceremoniously crowned by the host as Queen of the home as everyone sings hymns in Her honor. - The Fatima Message is shown:
The custodian then introduces the America Needs Fatima campaign to the audience. He begins by giving a short history of the origin of the statue before showing a powerful, 20-minute video on the story of Fatima and how Our Lady’s message is applied to our days and each one of us. The video shows how the importance of the message of Fatima is for our times and how all of Our Lady’s prophecies have been fulfilled and continues to be most relevant for us today. - Fatima Petitions are taken:
After this, the custodian distributes a special card envelope on which the guests can write petitions. These petitions are later taken to Fatima, Portugal, and placed at the exact spot where Our Lady appeared. - The Rosary and Reception:
Lastly, the Rosary is recited together and a small reception is usually offered to give those present the chance to visit with friends and make new acquaintances and allow the custodian to personally visit with the guests. During this time, everyone is invited to browse the line of beautiful religious materials and take pictures with the statue of Our Lady. - The Certificate is presented:
Before the presentation draws to a close, a beautiful certificate is presented to the host. When 13 or more attend a Fatima visit, the host receives a large poster of Our Lady of Fatima as a gift. The number 13 was chosen to honor the date in which Our Lady appeared - the 13th of each month from May to October 1917.
Fatima visits are back!
Our Fatima visits will begin this summer in Ontario, from June 18th to July 1st and from August 27th to September 9th, 2023. They will begin in the Niagara Falls region and work their way towards the Toronto area.

Frequently Asked Questions
We aim to bring Our Lady of Fatima into every home that wishes to learn more about Her message of conversion, prayer and penance. Many have either forgotten or are unfamiliar with what our Blessed Mother asked of us so that, as individuals and as a nation, we may participate in Her promise, “Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph!”
The visit begins with a short video presentation on the message of Fatima, followed by a group recitation of the Holy Rosary. (We bring all the necessary equipment for the presentation.) Throughout the presentation, the custodian will give explanations, examples and answer questions.
Generally, one to two hours.
If present, a member of the clergy. Otherwise, we suggest the host, someone of your choice or even the Fatima custodian.
Although they are optional, most participants do welcome light refreshments. They offer an opportunity for further questions, conversation and a chance to meet people.
For Our Lady’s statue, we will need a small sturdy table or stand about three feet high. The surface area need not be large. It should be placed in your home’s largest room. Flowers and/or candles add a nice touch but are optional. We will also need an extra table at the back of the room or in an adjacent area to display our beautiful religious articles and informative books.
P.S. If possible, please leave an open parking spot in front of your home for the Fatima custodian’s car.
Please remember that this visit could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn more about Our Lady and Her Fatima message. Our Pilgrim Statue has a history of touching hearts, and we believe yours will prove no exception! You will want to share the blessings of Her presence with as many people as possible. We suggest you begin by checking the names listed in your personal address book. Invite your relatives, friends, neighbors, co-parishioners or prayer group members. Everyone is welcome.

The America Needs Fatima Pilgrim Virgin Statue is coming to our home on (date) at (time). This is a unique opportunity, and I feel privileged to have this special statue in our home. There will be an audio-visual presentation on the Fatima message and recitation of the Rosary, as Our Lady requested. We would love to have you join us.

Yes. Modest attire is deeply appreciated. How many of us dress with care when preparing for a job interview? What about for Our Lady? This wonderful occasion ought to be approached with the respect and reverence due to the Mother of God. Keep in mind Jacinta’s warning, “Fashions will appear that will greatly offend Our Lord.”
